Our Mission
Our Mission is to Develop the Horse, Develop the Rider and Ultimately Develop Healthy, Connected Relationships.
When you look around at this world that we live in, it's impossible to miss how broken and hurting we all are. From the smallest of hurts to the greatest, they all are valid. If it matters to us it matters to our Papa, God. But what is the root of this hurt and where do we begin healing? The problem is most of us don’t know what a healthy relationship looks like. We have all been hurt in some way and experienced unhealthy relationships. Our boundaries have been shattered and disrespected. Most of us have never had a healthy relationship modeled to us and therefore we don’t know the proper way to form relationships. Relationships are all around us, and they all look different for everyone whether it be your relationship with your spouse, child, parent, family member, coworker, boss, friend, teacher or any other relationship in your life including your relationship with Jesus. Relationships effect the way we live and they are really the center of everything we do and why we do it.
Here at In Harmony Farm we use a method called Natural Lifemanship. Natural Lifemanship uses science-based techniques and practices to help people and animals form relationships to overcome stress and trauma. Our goal is to demonstrate, teach you and help you create healthy, connected relationships. Natural Lifemanship principles bleed into every area of your life and quickly become the cornerstone for your life. What we do here is proven to be mentally and physically healing to the human body.
Whether you are coming to In Harmony Farm for our Train and Board Program, Riding Lessons, Horsemanship Lessons or Therapy Sessions, what you will learn here, using Natural Lifemanship principles, will change your life for the better.

Romans 15:5-6
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Heart Behind it All
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust the Lord to write your story, whatever that may look like. Proverbs 3:5-6 says "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
As Ashley reflects back on her life, she can see the hand of God orchestrating every step that has led her to where she is today. She thinks about the people that have influenced her life the most. Family. family friends, Sunday school teachers, church family, youth pastors, coaches, babysitters, teachers, riding instructors, clinicians, mentors, barn friends, coworkers, bosses, friends from high school, current friends, friends of a friend and so many more encounters and connections with people, the GOOD and the BAD. It all has made her who she is today. John 16:33 says “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” God can't promise us a life without trials, but He does promise to go before us, walk with us, hold our hand and endure them with us. He is right there in the valleys with us friends. The most comforting verse Ashley has grown to love since she was a teenager has been, Deuteronomy 31:8 "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Another favorite is Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Ashley can clearly see God writing her story. She looks back on all she has walked through, gone through, experienced and also accomplished. She finds encouragement in knowing that God can use our trails, the hard stuff and all our scars for His glory and can bring GOOD out of the bad circumstances we endure. Situations may appear to have wrecked our lives but there is a bigger picture and what the devil meant for evil God can and will work it out for the good. Ashley now uses her story, her testimony, to relate to people and help people who are also hurting. Romans 8:28 says “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."
Horses have always been a huge part of her life. In more ways than one, they saved her. They were her haven; the barn was her safe place. In her own life she has experienced the power and healing that can take place when paired with these 4-legged furry friends. Ashley believes in what she does because her, herself witnessed it as a child.
Ashley wants to play a part in writing other people story. She has a passion for helping people become what they are capable of. She sees the potential and people and wants to help them grow. Ashley desires to be that leader, mentor, advocate, friend, listening ear, riding instructor, positive role model, teacher, trainer, life coach, a cheerleader and encourager! She wants to make a difference in people's lives the way so many people made a difference in hers.
She prays that these animals can be YOUR haven and this farm can be YOUR safe place. May you experience peace and joy, and may His sweet presence engulf you when you step foot on this property. May the love of God be made tangible and evident in sessions, in lessons and through the animals.
Deuteronomy 28:6
You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
About Ashley
Ashley is the Founder and CEO of In Harmony Farm.
For her, it all started with a little red pair of riding boots. Her parents bought them for her when she was 2 years old. She was 4 years old the first time she climbed onto a horse for her first riding lesson, and from that moment on she was hooked!
Ashley has seen first-hand how horses and farm animals touch our lives in ways nothing else can. She knew from a young age that God has called her to start her own ministry. Ashley grew up taking riding lessons, competing, participating in 4H and has been around horses her whole life. She has worked for multiple horse stables teaching riding lessons, mentoring, barn managing, trail guiding, horse training and working at a couple barns that specifically focused on therapy and working with people and animals to overcome trauma. There, she gained experience in using Karen Purvis' TBRI methods. Then, in 2016 she found Natural Lifemanship and discovered the science behind animals being so naturally healing to the mind, body and soul. In the year 2020 she got certified in the Fundamentals of Natural Lifemanship and her goal is to get fully certified as a Natural Lifemanship Instructor.
In October of 2020
Ashley and Clayton bought the farm.
Believe it or not, this is what it looked like out there when they bought the place. The history, so they've been told, is this place was a sheep farm. Though many people saw lots of work to be done, trees to be cut, brush and trash to be burnt, excavating to be done, blood sweat and tears to be poured out, all Clayton and Ashley could see was the potential of this little place. This simple, yet restful place.
In just 1-year, land was cleared, barns were built, fencing was built, and Ashley and Clayton created a home for many animals here on the property. Together, they have done most of the work themselves, being so driven and motivated by their dreams. They know without a doubt God has BIG plans for this place, and for In Harmony Farm. Ashley launched In Harmony Farm the year of 2021.
One of their favorite verses they hold unto is, Zechariah 4:10 "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin..."
